How the Home Energy Upgrade Works

Your home must have a BER rating of C1 or lower before entering the scheme.
Submit your enquiry

Technical review
Our technical team reviews your submission to confirm eligibility.
If valid, we will contact you to discuss your home and next steps.
Technical assessment
A full technical assessment of your property is carried out to determine the upgrades required.
Final offer
You will receive a detailed final offer outlining works, cost, and expected energy performance.
Deposit
Once you accept the offer, a deposit is paid to secure your place and schedule the works.
Upgrade works
Our certified installers carry out the approved energy upgrades to your home.
Final payment
When works are completed, the remaining balance is paid.
Grant approval & BER
We submit all paperwork to SEAI.
Your home must achieve a minimum B2 BER rating after upgrades to qualify for grant approval.

Facts to consider for fitting a heat pump

How well is your home insulated?

Solaris PV Powered Heat Pumps will only fit a heat pump in your home if it is suitable. A technical assessment needs to be done to assess this.

The HLI (heat loss indicator) – Coefficient of Performance

This calculation indicates how well your home holds in heat. If your home was built between 2007 and 2021 a technical assessment is not required for the grant.

The Terms of the Grant

If the house not have an appropriate HLI probably your home does not satisfy the terms of the Grant
